Did you ever wonder how fast can the average human being walk?
On an average, a human being can walk 4 km (2.5 miles) per hour. How fast one can put one foot after another generally depends on the age and weight of a person, the weather, and the terrain they are walking on. In spite of all the factors, 4 km per hour is a good estimate. At 6.5 km (4 miles) per hour you would be walking briskly, and at more than 9.5 km (6 miles) per hour, you would be jogging! More speed than that? Then you would be sprinting or running!
